Remedial Instruction
Remedial instruction focuses on the teaching of the underlying processes involved in the ability to handle all the various academic and life-skill requirements. It is really about learning how to learn. This involves visual/spatial skills, visual/motor skills, augmenting auditory processing and phonological awareness and various executive functioning skills which will help with time management, study and organizational skills.
One unique method we use is the abc and 123 dEcode® programs. dEcode® is the product of over 25 years of applied research and analysis. dEcode® is used every day by children and adults in our clinic, and across North America.
