About Dr. Cooper

About Dr. Deborah Chesnie Cooper, Ph.D.

Dr. Deborah Chesnie Cooper is an educational and developmental psychologist who has been in private practice since 1972 and a registered psychologist since 1978. Dr. Deborah Chesnie Cooper is the only Educational Psychologist in clinical practice who provides hands-on follow through with children of all ages, over and above her diagnostic assessment.

Throughout her many years practicing psychology, Dr. Cooper has treated people of all ages with a variety of learning disabilities. Working directly with these individuals, she discovered that for many, traditional teaching methods – specifically in the areas of reading and math – do not work. In addition, by the time they reached her, many of these people had self-esteems so fragile that emotional factors also prevented new learning.

Dr. Cooper developed a number of programs, all under the dEcode® umbrella, to address these areas.

Deborah Chesnie Cooper is the author of dEcode® and has been developing this amazing learning system for over 30 years. To learn more about Deborah, please download her CV.
